Description

Nestled in the Devonshire countryside in the hamlet of Broadwoodkelly is a collection of delightful dwellings, the Redhays Holiday Cottages.

The farm buildings have all been beautifully converted or extended, retaining many original features, timbers and stonework.

A truly rural retreat, set within 13-acres of land, each cottage offers a haven for relaxation and wildlife spotting.

There are cows and horses to be seen in the surrounding fields and deer and hedgehogs make regular appearances in the garden along with a variety of birdlife.

Together the three cottages can accommodate 14 guests, all complete with open-plan living spaces, flexible sleeping arrangements, and off-road parking.

They each benefit from access to a shared, indoor swimming pool on a rota basis.

With a private lake to stroll down to, along with picturesque gardens to enjoy, Redhays Holiday Cottages allows visitors the peace of mind to have a relaxing holiday, with the option of spending some time exploring the highlights of Devon.

The location is a perfect base for exploring many of Devon’s top attractions including Dartmoor and Exmoor as well as offering access to both North and South coasts.

There are many nature reserves in the area to explore, including Meeth Quarry Nature Reserve.

By car, reach Dartmoor National Park, with plenty of hiking and cycling trails to follow, reaching the Higher Tor summit, Scorhill stone circle, and Castle Drogo Gardens, plus much more, whilst the coast can also be reached, with the bustling harbour of Plymouth or the landscape of North Devon AONB awaiting to be toured.

Whether you remain in the countryside, or head to the coast, book Redhays Holiday Cottages for your next escape to Devon.
